Thats right friends and neighbors when i got on the scale this morning I was greeted to this....Officially 70 lbs down ( actually 70 and some change). Less than a year ago I was 70 lbs heavier hard to imagine. But never the less I did it which means 6 lbs to my ultimate goal!

Morning true believers. your old pal Jim here with a news flash....not really but it sure sounded cool huh? no..... oh welll. Anywho  I am on day 21 in a row of 12 hour shifts. Tomorrow is a day off then I have Saturday of for the Bruce springsteen show and THats it till christmas. Yep you read that correctly. Yeah it sucks but the checks are amazing.
But on the good front the scale clicked down to 208.8 Almost my goal wait and my one year banderversery coming up so I am sure I will have something special planned. Just wanted to check in. Oh and read more comic books people seriouly your missing out

glass ceiling

Well I finally cracked that glass celing that elusive 210. Got on the scale this morrning and BOOM! 209.2 !!! Only 9.3 from my original goal ( original was 200 but I want 199.9 I want to hit onederland!)

So if I keep working I might hit my goal on my one year anniversary.

Ok this is one of those things where there is no answer to the riddle.... Now what is the number #1 Bandster rule....CHEW YOUR FOOD TILL IT IS MUSH!!!! Well what do you do when you have no lower mollars anymore? It is offical I have no lower chewing teeth. Try this experiment next time you eat try and crew it up only using your front teeth now you cant turn the food in the side of your mouth the gums are stiched shut there. this is my life ( oh on bonus I got dry socket on both sides as well)

On the left now on the right is me when I was at my thinist before band now this was when I was in 5 weeks after  daily radiation treatment from cancer  for 8 weeks. I was about 270 ish (ignore the dates)

 There isnt a day that goes by that I go through the gambit of emotion that goes with the thoughts of How did I get to this size, I dont remember being this small, How the hell did I get to that weight, please dont let me get back to that size. I really havn't bought any new clothes since my weight loss. Other than jeans because that was a must buy, but everything else Shirts, Underware, coat are still my old size. Not sure why I have not said the hell with it and just go shopping (other than being cheap) I think there is part of me that is just scared. But I do love the fact of grabbing a shirt out of the closet that was labeled as to damn tight and now it is very loose. Thank god I have had the band merch at the house so I could raid it for clothes that fit and the record label sending me clothing packages ( all med and lrg shirts I was in XXL )

Well remember that broken tooth… well i called the dentist this morning and told them I broke a tooth and i need it pulled. She said get you get here by 9 I said sure so i clock out of work and drive there get in the chair take X-rays and then she asks if i would like take care of another tooth at the same time? Um aren't you pulling this one today"
"oh no we don't do extractions"

"WHAT IN THE FUCKITY FUCK, thats why i came here I clock out of work to get this thing pulled"

So the soonest they could see me was next friday

Take 2 I call a new dentist that does extractions and he can see me tomorrow, but since my jaw has been radiated they need to talk to my doctors and all his jazz ( i have been though this before it 2 weeks to get clearance)

So I said fuck it I went in to the bathroom with my leatherman and just pulled the damn thing myself

HUGE VICTORY and a suck shit one

Ok i have a really good thing happen today and a really crappy one. Good one I looked up average height and weight of a NHL player and it was 6'1" and 204. I am 6'2" 212 so with the extra inch I am the average NHL player a professional athlete. Bad new I have a lower back tooth getting ready to fall out.

You know i have not really set any "goals" to be achieved at any certian time, but i think i will try one  here it is ... I want to be in oneder-land before my 1 year anniversery 1 by 1 if you will. It is ot that far off.  I figure if i actually excersise and stay out of the ice cream shop it will be a no problem type goal.

But speaking of things that do not help towards the goal. I went camping for the first time this week end. It was a pow-wow so there was fair food!!! No I cant really eat fair food anymore since bread does not go down. But there was the frozen yogert and ice cream tent...DAMN you baskin robbins. all in all i did not gain which in my head means I would of lost if i ate right ;)

I was posting this as a comment and thought hey this is kind of a post

There are old foods that I miss. But i miss more the act of eating. What i mean is I will go home hungry and my brain still says "awwww yeah gonna eat me a plate of this and wash it down with that and finish it off with some of this. " But then I make dinner and eat my 1/2 cup to a cup and BOOM I hit the wall of full! and i think to my self well that was disappointing. See my weight issues cam not so much of what i ate. I just ate a whollllle bunch of it ;)

fill er up

Went in for a fill I missed my last appointment due to being a ditz. Have you noticed how long they make you wait for fills? All the pre band people go right in I guess they figure were hooked already so they can make us wait for our fix. anyway I am at 7 in 9 cc band and I am finally feeling the mysterious restriction. I can feel fluids going down. I get full after a very small amount. SO the scale has gone down in the days since i got the fill so thats a good thing still have not hit the 20_ yet hopefully soon
